Standout Squarespace 2.0 | An Honest Course Review.
I purchased the Standout Squarespace* course in March of 2025. I’d been tempted to invest in this course for such a long time, but then when Rache revealed the Montage template, I was awestruck at Rache’s sheer genius, and knew that I had to invest in the whole thing immediately.
Before choosing to invest in Standout Squarespace, I researched a lot and scoured the internet for reviews just like this one - it felt like a big investment in my business for someone who had already been using Squarespace for 9 years - and I wanted to make sure that it was going to be the right investment for my business.
While I’ve only been enrolled in the course for a few months at the time of writing, I don’t think I have the words to express just how much of a difference it’s made to my website design business, and so I wanted to write this post for anyone currently considering signing up for the course.

FIRST THINGS FIRST
Firstly, I want to touch on how brilliant and responsive Rache and her team are, even before you’ve enrolled in the course or purchased anything.
I had a question about purchase methods when I was signing up, and not only did Rache respond personally, her responses were completely personalised, quick and she actioned a request of mine that she absolutely did not need to do.
Since then, whenever I’ve had questions about the course content, the replies in the community and via email have been equally responsive and helpful.
A couple of weeks ago, I had a question about a feature I wanted to add to a client website and couldn’t find any reference to it in the existing course. Within a day, Rache had responded to me with custom code I could implement which fixed my problem immediately!
I mean it when I say this, I have never experienced this level of customer service anywhere else.

I’d been working with Squarespace for just over 9 years, built 2 of my own business websites on it and 40+ client websites on it before investing in this course, and it has still blown me away.
While I’m a qualified designer, and had picked up bits of CSS over the years, I’d never done any formal training in coding or fully understood the building blocks of websites.
Now, just a few months on, my skills have skyrocketed and I feel SO much more confident when building client sites, can troubleshoot quicker and can really design and build better websites for everyone.
As a result of this, I’ve felt confident to increase my prices and have booked clients easily at these new levels.

I think this depends on where you’re at right now, and also what your goals are for taking this course.
For me, I knew I wanted to learn about all things code and be much more confident in offering website development services as well as design, and so the Advanced version of the course was always going to be the one for me.
However, if you’re brand new to Squarespace and maybe are looking to build a brilliant, user-friendly, accessible website for yourself, the Foundations course will help you do just that.

I honestly don’t know where to start in telling you about the Montage Template.
It is ridiculously clever. Sheer genius. Quite literally business-changing.
Rache has essentially built a master Squarespace template filled with the most technical / difficult to master coding elements from the Standout Squarespace course.
From the template, you can easily apply those same elements to any other Squarespace site (on a business plan or higher) in a few clicks.
The template is also built in such a way that Rache can keep adding and updating elements, and we can access them immediately without having to redownload another template etc.
It’s amazing, and brings so much value to the course just in itself.
WOULD I RECOMMEND IT?
You’ve probably gathered this from the post already, but yes.
I would completely recommend the Standout Squarespace course to both beginners and experienced designers alike if you want to design and build a truly thoughtful, beautiful and… well, standout website experience for you or your clients.
The course is completely self-paced so you can tackle each module, tutorial and exercise whenever you like without feeling pressured to do.
Any workshops are always recorded so that you can watch them back at a time that suits you.
