Abi's biggest client to date
— booked.
No extra marketing. No ad spend. Just a website that finally did the job her old one couldn't.
The Problem
Abi had done the hard work. She'd gone through a full rebrand — new name, new identity, new direction — evolving from Tailor-Made Social into SocialPlus with Abi. The branding was sharp and the positioning was super clear, but the only problem was that her website still said the old name, told the old story, and completely failed to reflect any of it.
It's a surprisingly common situation: the brand gets an upgrade but the website lags behind, leaving a disconnect that potential clients feel even when they can't quite articulate why. For Abi, whose entire business is built on helping others show up credibly online, the gap between her expertise and her digital presence was costing her.
When your whole business is about showing up online, a website that contradicts your brand isn't just a missed opportunity — it's actively working against you.
The Approach
With Abi's branding already in place, my job was to take everything she'd built and give it a home that matched its energy — and then some. Rather than a straightforward design job, this became an exercise in amplification: how do you take a bold, confident brand identity and build a website experience around it that feels just as alive?
The answer was thoughtful interactivity. Using advanced custom code, I built a site that moves, responds, and surprises — every animation purposeful, every interaction considered. Not flashy for the sake of it, but genuinely reflective of a personality-led business where the founder's warmth and confidence are core to why clients choose her.
01
Strategy Before Design
Even with the branding handled, we worked through the website strategy first — user flows, conversion points, how a prospective client moves from landing to enquiring.
02
Interactivity as Brand Expression
The animations aren't decoration — they're personality. For a social media specialist, a static site would be a contradiction in terms. The site needed to feel as dynamic as she is.
03
Designed to Convert
Fun and functional aren't opposites. Every page was designed with a clear next action in mind — so the experience is joyful to navigate, and effortless to enquire through.
