Our signature development service and the platform we’ve known and loved for over ten years. Perfect for service providers and small e-commerce stores, we develop completely bespoke Squarespace websites (just like our own) that look and feel beautiful, premium and effortless.

The Process

( 001 ) Discovery + Consultation

We begin with a consultation call to understand your business, your goals, audience and vision. From here, a personalised proposal will be sent to you and, once accepted, your client agreement is shared with you to be signed. A 25% deposit is then required to secure your project and your start date.

( 002 ) Onboarding + Preparation

You’ll then get access to your own Client Portal, where you’ll find all the details about your project, with clear steps laid out to guide you through your project questionnaire and uploading your brand and website content assets. This ensures we begin your project with clarity and organisation.

( 003 ) Strategy + Direction

This is where we take a real deep dive into your brand, starting with a strategy call to go through your questionnaire in more depth, followed by our research to really define your positioning, goals, audience and what your website truly needs to do for your business to help you reach those goals.

We also map out your website’s framework, user journey and content flow, to ensure that every page and touchpoint is intuitive and guiding your dream client to enquire or purchase.

( 004 ) Design + Development

And then, we design! First, we design your website in a static, mock-up format with intention - balancing aesthetics, hierarchy, flow, and conversion - so it feels effortless to navigate and deeply aligned to your brand.

Only once these static designs are signed off by you, do we carefully build your website on Squarespace, Shopify or Wordpress. From the layout, to hierarchy, to transitions and subtle interactions, every element is built for a seamless and cohesive experience across desktop and mobile.

( 005 ) Review + Refinement

You’ll get two guided and structured revision rounds during the project: one after we’ve designed your static mockups, and the second once your signed-off designs have been developed within your chosen platform.

We’ll guide you through giving this feedback, ensuring we’re staying aligned with your initial vision, website objectives and overall strategy we established in step 3.

( 006 ) Launch + Support

Your finalised website is then thoroughly tested and QA’d by us, before we’ll support you through connecting your domain (if required), and launching your beautiful new site out into the world!

You’ll then receive a tailored training video completely customised to your site to ensure you have full confidence in editing and updating your website going forward.

We will also send over beautiful mockups of your new site for you to proudly show off on your socials!

Two weeks of post-launch tech-support are also included for final guidance and assurance.

  • Different platforms have different development requirements and complexities for us to build your website. Most Shopify websites require us to start with a base Shopify theme that needs to be purchased before it can be then be completely customised to our designs, and therefore requires a slightly higher investment to account for this.

    For Wordpress, we collaborate with an incredible developer, Holly Pryce, and so the investment you see here is the investment for both Studio Zosia designs + Holly Pryce development services.

  • Yes! Absolutely.

    I kindly ask that you pay a 25% deposit on any project we undertake together, and then after that, we can work out a payment plan over a number of instalments to cover the length of your project.

  • For all design projects, you’ll be provided with a Design Questionnaire that I will kindly ask you to complete ahead of our Strategy Call, as well as gathering some visual inspiration via a Pinterest board!

    For website projects, in order to get ready for your project and ensure the process is as efficient and seamless as possible, I ask that you come ready with your website copy and images.

    For The Studio Originale service, you will need to provide your full brand guidelines and branding assets (logo suite, submarks, colour codes and font files) prior to our design work.

    Later, you will also need to have a domain and purchase your Squarespace subscription, however I will walk you through all of these steps when the time comes.

  • I will build your website on Squarespace or Shopify, depending on your business and project needs.

    We can discuss together which platform is right for you during our consultation, and I will also provide details and options within your personal proposal.

    There are a number of reasons why these platforms are my preferred platforms (security, ease of use, accessibility and usability to name a few!), but if you are passionate about your website being on an alternative platform, it is definitely something I am more than open to chat through with you.

  • With every bespoke website project, you’ll receive a 90 minute 1:1 training session from me, or a set of tailored recorded videos showing you how to use every aspect of your website, from updating text and images, to adding new pages from scratch.

    My aim is always to empower you to be able to update and add to your website without needing to come back to me if you don’t want to.

    You will also receive 30 days free tech support post launch to help with any tweaks or updates.

  • This depends on the complexity of the design, functionality and platform requirements. Approximate timelines for each service can be found in the detail above.

    I only work on a select number projects per year, to ensure I am able to give each of my clients my full focus, energy and ensure all projects run as smooth and seamlessly as possible.

  • You’ll need to pay for your Squarespace or Shopify subscription (as above) as well as for your custom domain if required. Websites like GoDaddy and Namecheap offer relatively cheap domains!

    Other than that, unless you require any add-ons or choose to pay for third party functionality (such as payment processing or premium email newsletters), there are no other costs.

  • If you also require branding for your website, the Studio Signature service may be a better fit. This is a complete brand and website design package providing you with a completely cohesive and strategy-backed online presence.

  • I am not a copywriter and will never claim to be - copywriters are incredibly talented people and it is a whole different discipline to website design.

    If you would like professional help with your copy, I have partner copywriters who I trust implicitly that I can refer you to.

    Alternatively, I can provide holding copywriting in your designs, but any revisions to this copy will need to come from you or your own copywriter. No revisions to this holding copy will be taken.
